Might be interesting to se who Pompey replace them with, and at what cost............

We have probably already bought a large percentage of a team that is good enough to play in the championship (that’s not to say we’ll do anything outstanding!). We could probably have made a title winning side out of the players we had injured last season.

Sean Raggett caught a lot of Pompey fans out with a near flawless season when he came in to replace Regan Poole. He needs a very solid left CH alongside him though. Have you got one?

Can't see there being anything in interest in Kelly we have enough defensive midfielders.

Are could it be that Portsmouth don’t think they are good enough for the Championship.That’s we’re we fall down going up with too many players that aren’t good enough for the Championship.

Yeah but don’t forget these were out of contract,we normally had players under contract..maybe they thought its better time now to move them on now budget wise…rather than offering them a two year deal etc..

I remember once warne said we needed a left back and a striker and we didnt have budget for both…so he signed hirst which was a double whammy as he was not good enough at time and also no left back…sounds like evans has made this clear to chairman what he needs and they will get them.

So, by that logic we must assume that TS has made the funds available which he hasn't always done in the past.
It's an interesting change of heart because according to both TS and SE the parting of the ways last time around came because of a disagreement over recruitment policy.
Presumably SE has made it quite clear what he will need this time so hopefully everything will continue to go smoothly on the transfer front.
