Agreed. But, if (IF!) we can keep our best players and also improve the squad in key areas then our chances next season will be great. A better more in-depth squad, and less meaningless but tiring fixtures should mean less injuries and less fatigue.Originally Posted by Marat18
I was gutted at today's result - which I thought pretty near impossible, but I sholud know by now that there's no such thing in football. But my initial reaction was that its a disaster and any sort of European football was necessary to keep us on track.
Settled down a bit now, and I'm thinking that the Conference League was only really "keeping up appearances" of being on track. Yes, next season is huge, but I think we'll be in good shape to tackle it head on.
