    100% agree.

Is Sunak intentionally trying to lose the election at this point?

Sunak & his mrs are incredibly wealthy, they don’t actually need to work.

He’s showing all the signs of being on a suicide mission 123 but would anyone like him want that on their CV?

I’d think not, if he loses like the 97 lot he’ll be held in derision like Truss for eternity.

This latest policy is all about feeding meat to the elderly and typical Tory voter, he’s clearly given up any hope he could appeal to anyone under 35.

    He’ll be advocating burning homo s e x u a l s at the stake next just to please the 80+ brigade.

Without doubt we do need to take our security very seriously now.
This is however is an ill-thought-out option and political suicide.
My view would be to use this money to increase military spending to 4% of GDP, invest in technology and also make the armed services a rewarding and attractive option.
A well paid, well equipped motivated professional military is what we need and we need it now.

Actually, there’s one or two knobs around here that I would quite like to disappear into the army for twelve months!

Totally agree! It’s the Tories who have cut back the armed forces for 13 years FFS and now Sunak wants to restore it back to 2.5% of GDP!

Love to know what the true cost of all these illegals is flooding in and the failed Rwanda scheme? Add this to all the wasted Covid contracts and equipment and it will be eye watering! Millions of aid sent to Gaza when neighbouring countries do nothing! You really couldn’t make it up FFS!
