Phew thank God for that, I love a bit of al fresco dining, now if only I could do that the next time I visit France or Italy or Spain or..oh erm hang on....
Two more Brexit benefits, out of the long list that's become apparent since the UK shot itself in both feet!
Brexit border controls, which will make trade with our European neighbours massively more difficult and expensive, will cost us at least £4.7 billion to implement, according to a new National Audit Office report. Whilst costing firms operating within the UK around £500 million per year in extra costs!
Now the good news, apparently not being in the EU, means we can dine al fresco at restaurants who new the EU prevented the UK doing that pre Brexit!!

So it looks like travelling to the EU could be a bit of a pain come October, when the full EU requirements including finger prints and facial recognition are in force. Ooops another Brexit bonus
I'm fortunate enough to have 2 passports, Dutch and English. Use the one that provides the least hassle wherever I happen to be going.
Yep, I mean it won't be horrendous once it gets going and the cost isn't huge BUT it's not an improvement, it's worse even if not life changing, add in all those on mobile phone contracts that no longer include EU roaming it makes going on holiday in the EU worse not better, like the older couple I know who used to go abroad for months in their motorhome, now restricted to a few weeks.
My brexit voting sister and BIL where moaning yesterday about the cost of taking their dog on their upcoming trip to Europe. Nearly 300 on top of the vaccination cost.
Ooops.
Over a month has gone by and not a singles post of the golden thread. The Remoaner/Rejoiner corps on here must have found something new to whinge about
