I never got the love in with the Burnley fans over Kompany. He merely applied the Man City school of thought and ‘bought’ Burnley out of the championship to the premier league. His first full season with the big boys and he flopped.

It wasn’t hard to do what he did and lord knows what those at Bayern see in him. I’ll give him half a season before he’s sacked and Harry Kane pleading come and get me plea.
