Yes, used to travel with Geoff. I still speak to him regularly and we have an occasional meet for a pub lunch. Domestic issues are making things very difficult for him. I think that he peruses this message board from time to time.

Do send Geoff my best wishes Mike. Domestic issues can be a real burden and tough to handle. I recently buried my mother - she died from cancer 2 1/2 weeks after ”the verdict” was given to her. Dad is in a care home with dementia and hardly recognises me. I am the only child, and I don’t live in the town where they live/lived - so quite a bit of travelling recently.

I sympathise with your situation, Thomas, I had a similar scenario to deal with when my Mother was nearing the end of her life; very trying and upsetting. I wish you and your family all the best.
