It's a big jump in quality from Tier Five last season winning the title to Tier Four--The Women's National League Division One North. The coming season's opponents are, in alphabetical order--

Barnsley FC to play--
Chester Lee Street
Chorley
Doncaster Belles
Durham Cestria
FC Utd Manchester
Hull
Leeds
Middlesbrough
Norton and Stockton
Stockport
York

The non-Oakwell Barnsley Women, who play at Sheffield, now will play in the Division One Midland so no derby next season.

Tier Four sees the start of payments being allowed, part time at this level. Wages won't be anywhere near the average £47,000 pa for top WSL players and little/ no information is readily available as to what part time wages are being paid in Tier Four.

Jess Horsley has organised trials for the Women's Team inviting interested players to attend. No doubt players will be sniffing out what wages Mladen Sormaz has on offer as well as use of some Oakwell facilities. It's a different world to the regional amateur leagues from Tier Five downwards and it will be a tough season.

With JAQ's support anything is possible.
