Unfortunately basher, those types are no longer accepted as MPs. Like Steph Peacock you needn’t have any real life work experience just straight out of Uni, into a Charity of some kind then into Parliament and even better if you’re female. Sadly the working class party no longer elects working class, experienced people. Not that the Tories are any better with their selections going now for young Westminster Special Advisors rather than local constituency workers who’ve put years in and know what life and their locality’s really about. It’s a sad indictment of our political system and when you look at the two main parties can you actually name one current MP that you’d trust with the keys to the UK because I can’t?

Whilst I’m not a Starmer fan I think he’s probably got the right background for Labour to secure the votes to win.
The traditional Labour voters in the north who drifted to the Conservative in recent times are likely to go back to the left even with KS at the helm but they need votes in the south and he will appeal to them.

In terms of leaders what’s your opinion on Ian ‘best team in the league’ Evatt? Sticking with him or time for a change. From the outside it appears as though he doesn’t know what he’s doing (how to get promoted) and he’s let you guys as fans down badly

It all depends on your starting point, but thanks for helping Ulley out as he's clearly struggling.
Of course you wouldn't. You would be like a Farage figure who would see current conservatives as socialists and Starmer as a Trot, all the time protesting that their own extreme right position is quite centrist!

So what you should be asking is can we give you good examples of a successful communist economic strategy? But have you considered what we should measure this 'success' by?

There you go. Communism could be classed as a successful left wing economy, but - as you hint at - at what price? No thanks!

Well, they should have a fare chance of getting in in Rotherham. The Tories don't have a candidate.

I personally don't know of anyone who espouses communism as in any way a viable system to consider, and as far as I'm aware only a dwindling number of people at the extremes of the left would argue for it. Even Corbyn's manifesto was pretty much down the line social democracy. So why even try to swing the discussion towards an irrelevant concept that no one's even thinking of? Makes you seem quite out of touch apart from these Daily Mail and gb news tropes you can't help yourself spouting

I think you'll find some very interesting election results in European countries where there is a massive move to control immigration that has caused havoc across the continent.

Yeah, it looks like the push back has started.

Macron has called a snap election...
