I'd completely forgotten about Liam Walker, but I've got a mate who follows Gibraltar and he's basically their most famous player ever. She was trying to explain that their most famous player played for Notts and I felt guilty to have so little memory of his time with us.

Good news for TAR. That's a good move for him to a relatively big NL club and it would be good to see him establish him stand get a full injury-free season.

He barely played for us to be fair. Nolan used him as a sub sometimes when we were winning comfortably at home, and he looked like he had a decent left foot, but he wasn't cut out for the physicality of L2.

It could've been Dan Gosling joins Westlife for all I care.

I think this proves that our recruitment takes too many wild punts. I'm all for the risk v reward thing, but I think they need to rein in the parameters of who gets brought in and given pitch time for us. He played in about 15% of our L2 games last season.

Not sure this means anything towards how recruitment process.

Gosling retired and became a u21 coach after us, but Westfield seem to be owned by someone with deep pockets that has lured another ex prem player, so isn't a case of finding his true level.
