These ground floor tenements especially would be backed up with sewage and any major blockage would show there first

You're right, he is a narcissist, wind up merchant or just a total tube. Take your pick. The first few of his ramblings were set out to try to show he knows something about pitches. The remainder since soon showed he knows sod all (pun intended). The new Groundman has given a detailed update with pictures showing 27 newly laid lateral drains and goes onto describe all the other work winding down now with seed expected to be planted this coming week and Roma is still havering on about core samples and thatch.

Do we have the ability on this site to block or ignore posters because since no-one has the wit or inclination to ban the tube such tools would be helpful? If they don't exist we shouldn't fuel the idiot's ego by interacting with him and from now on I will ignore him and you won't see any more replies to his nonsense from me.

The more I read of his ramblings the more I think he is just Shedka posting under another name. If not the two of them deserve each other over on dayglo' mad and Roma should just stay there.

So in your expert opinion it's the thatch, caused by not removing clippings, that's the problem? Despite most of the clippings being collected and the pitch being scarified regularly?

Genius, you should've shouted up earlier and we'd could have saved six figures employing a load of amateurs to dig it up and fix the perfectly serviceable drainage.

Ive read they have added a few drains to the pitch, why do this if its the dens road drain at fault?
