Like Steph Peacock you needn’t have any real life work experience just straight out of Uni, into a Charity of some kind then into Parliament and even better if you’re female. Sadly the working class party no longer elects working class, experienced people. Not that the Tories are any better with their selections going now for young Westminster Special Advisors rather than local constituency workers who’ve put years in and know what life and their locality’s really about. It’s a sad indictment of our political system and when you look at the two main parties can you actually name one current MP that you’d trust with the keys to the UK because I can’t?
