    Everton the new Newcastle

The Saudis continue their incursion into English footie with a bid for Everton https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football...s/cjmmrwk4nz0o

I can't see that Sean would fit into their plans but who knows, they haven't dumped Eddie yet. One things for certain, it won't be a leveraged buyout so what's better, mormons with no money or Saudis with loads of dosh but lots of human rights issues?

If our government is prepared to overlook the human rights issues and do business with Saudi Arabia, which it does, then I see no reason why any football club shouldn't.

It’s only about the root of all evil I’m afraid and that’s money - it’s ironic really as the premiership is happy to have wealthy owners ( regardless of how legit the money is or moral / human issues ) and then fines / deducts points from them for not trading within FFP

The juggernaut won’t stop I know that much
