    Time waits for no man

Obviously it is important we choose the right person for manager. However the choice is complicated by the fact that some clubs are already releasing players and bringing in players and those decisions can only be done once a manager is appointed and if we take much longer appointing a manager any targets we might have may have gone and signed elsewhere. Time waits for no man so come on Alan Pace get the interviews done (if they have yet to be done) and make a decision and let the manager get some irons in the fire and disccard those who we no longer want.

It is a difficult one, Lancaster. A new manager will not really know the players. At least Bellamy and Jackson know the squad - perhaps who to keep and who should go.

I imagine that any new manager would lean on those two. In the meantime BFC is a business. If the club could make a profit on a player, why would the club not sell. I don’t really see any member of the squad as indispensable.

Swiss can only agree with you but whoever becomes our manager he will have to be sharpish getting the players he thinks he wants and either a new manager or those currently in post need to get rid or sell that are classed as dispensable. Like you say none are indispensable but in reality we cannot get rid of every single player. There is an awful lot of work to be done and I would think any delays in deciding who will be our manager will have impacts on who we dispense, who we keep and maybe who we buy. The manager issue is critical.
