    In an interview with DCFC half a dozen or so years ago, Willie said that he had been injured was going to be out for a while (arthritic hip) so replacing him with Gemmill was logical and he didn't have a problem with it. Part of the interview was reposted on the DCFC website a couple of days ago as part of the club tribute to "Wee Willie".

    A "belligerent aggressive little scouser" - wish we could find another like him for this season coming. Perhaps a little too dwarf like for today's game, but nonetheless an early hero and favourite player. RIP
