    Thanks, I missed that. I see that the resurrected Shippo's seems to be doing well. That would suit me, but I wonder what other local ales there are these days. When I moved away Home Ales hadn't yet been bought by S&N, and between them, Kimberley Ales and Shippo's there wasn't too much room for outsiders.

    There's Castle Rock and Magpie Brewery to name two, both have some excellent beers. There's loads of micro breweries but probably not up to the mass production needed.
