Patience is a virtue! Its not when but who we sign that matters!

None of the names makes me think that, but of course it will be September before we can judge.

Journalist Darren Witcoop wrote on X: “Marc Leonard has six offers on the table with Brighton ready to sell the midfielder for £400,000. Clubs from Championship, League One and abroad all interested in striking a deal.”

Looking at a post from the club yesterday, it looks like the new kit will be launched on Thursday June 27th, the day after fixture release. IF, and I sincerely hope we have, got one or more deals done and dusted, they may well be announced, along with photo(s) of said new player(s) Thursday or, more likely, on the Friday.

Latest rumour is Mathew Ryan goalkeeper, recently with AZ Akmaar and formerly with Brighton.

Saw that one weeks ago. Very good keeper. I'd be happy with him but would he be happy with SBC/Derby level wages?

I’m sure that’s going to Bea stumbling block with all out of contract players, ‘free’ isn’t really free is it when meeting wage demands is accounted for

Well its free in that no transfer fee is involved, but wages and agents fees tend to be payable whether a club pays a transfer fee or not.

I guess at the end of the day it all depends upon Derby's wage structure, and I don't have an answer to that. I am being told a couple of signings are close but not likely before next Tuesday.

Just seen this elsewhere... Jack Hinshelwood from Brighton more or less done. Loan for 1 year. I'm told. Announcement next week.

Sweetener for a renewed Cashin bid?

My son, a Villa fan for his sins, reports they are selling Omari Kellyman to Chelsea for 20m. We let him go for about 500k during "the troubles" IIRC. Wonder if we have a sell-on that wasn't spunked away by the two Andies?

Just seen a report claiming it's £19M and we do have a 25% sell on clause which should net us £4.75M

I do so hope it's true.
