Crash, didn't you once post about the Russian nuclear subs and what nuclear missiles they carry? The ones that if only two were fired on the UK, that could create a tsunami that would wipe us off the world map.

So, as we fire missiles on Russia, their nukes would hit us first seeing how such close proximity they are to our shorelines.

Russia has one of the two most advanced and well stocked militaries in the world, the second largest length of borders, is half the distance from our shores, and is run by a centibillionaire madman who has recently invaded foreign territories and murdered people in our country. You don't need brainwashing to think Russia is either a concern, or won't be our best mate.

Iran is far easier to destabilise, and has a nuclear superpower with an itchy trigger finger 500 miles away.

That first paragraph almost fits a description of the USA

A country that needs animosity with Russia to fuel its armaments businesses

Russia USA has one of the two most advanced and well stocked militaries in the world, the second largest length of two borders, is half the distance from nowhere near our shores, and is run by an old centibillionaire madman who has recently invaded foreign territories and murdered people in our country supported a ceasefire in Gaza. You don't need brainwashing to think Russia the US is either an ally concern, or won't be our best mate would be slightly miffed that Rishi Sunak left France early.

    Practically the same...

Apologies Stovic I’ve only just logged back into this….been watching footer.

Yes as Eternal says he feels threatened by NATO and I can understand that. Lonely and apprehensive with only a few friends

But also he wants Russia to be recognised as a world power and to try and restore some of the old Soviet Empire before it was split up. A bad move in his eyes and he wants it back.

A fabulous World Cup was held in his country in what seems only yesterday. They put on a wonderful event, everyone was welcome, he reeled in the hooligans and we were all friends. In a matter of 2-3 years since then he’s gone the other way and is acting like a cornered bear. That is the fault of the west. He held out an Olive branch, wanted to be friends, and showed us what a wonderful country Russia is we didn’t take it.
We ignored him, didn’t thank him and then threatened him. I might have been a bit miffed too if that happened to me.

If he wants his ego massaged and to be told how wonderful Russia is, then do that….at regular intervals. Otherwise he will exert force to get what he wants.
Threats and breaking off relationships when he wanted to be friends ( probably at a distance ) was a really, really poor decision . Keystone Cops diplomacy from our allies across the pond.

Yet we've been subjected to the brainwashing anyway. I wonder why?
