It's entirely possible we'll lose one or both of them. If we do, we'll have money from their sale to buy replacements. There is no way we'd let them go for less than they're worth and that's totally fair. Not worth worrying about it until offers come in, IMO.

I for one am getting a bit sick of it tbh
This is where I'm at. The players are both under contract for next season and with Macca beyond. Macca has just been made captain. They are both loved and adored by fans and love the club. There does not need to be constant anxiety about it.

We've not sold anyone under radar apart from Cal Roberts from memory. Everyone else has left when their contracts ran out.

I think it's a case of next season with the big three gone (Stockport/Wrexham/Mansfield) that the stars are aligned and it's an opportunity for us to go for automatic promotion because if we don't get to league one then there will likely be more chance of Langstaff and JJ leaving next summer. But that is along time in football into the future.

IMO they will both be Notts players next season especially having seen the excellent recruitment so far. Top 3 here we come
Thanks for those very insightful snippets, you must have a crystal ball or 💀

I said it's possible. Are you saying it's physically impossible?

What interests me with JJ is he only has a year left on his contract. This is a guy who has had horrific luck with injuries, nearly 3 years out and also has just had a new born.
That makes me think now he will really want a longer contract now he’s proved he can do a full season so I expect he will either sign an extension this month or he’ll be off but I just can’t see him letting it run down.

I have a sneaky feeling we will lose Jodi. His contract is up in 12 months and if we don't go up no chance will we keep him. if we do go up and he has another stellar season it's not impossible but not likely. I think this might mean we are more susceptible to lower offers. Plus we just signed a new wing back who on the surface looks reasonable. I don't think Macca is going anywhere for reasons mentioned by others.

Points 1 and 3 are valid points.
Point 2 is exactly what you said.
