We signed Coyle, Dyche, Howe and Ternent within two to three weeks of the previous manager leaving, three of them won us promotions, the other, Eddie, did us no harm. I really do not know what they can find out about a prospective manager in 5/6 weeks, that they cannot find out in 2/3 weeks.

A stitch in time saves nine.

The early bird catches the worm.

    He who hesitates is lost.

    Time is of the essence.

Time and tide waits for no man.

Never leave until tomorrow that which you can do today.

Alternatively, in order to live without worry:-

Never worry about anything over which you have no control

Expect nothing and you will never be disappointed.

I say “it is always the darkest just before dawn”.We will know who the manager is soon enough and nothing we do or say on hear will influence the decision so as Sub rightly points out “dont worry be happy!”
After all “if push comes to shove"Gareth will be available shortly.

While we're on with sayings, 'there's many a true word spoken in jest', and I don't have the slightest doubt that Mr Pace is an ardent admirer of Gareth. Add to this the fact that by appointing interims Bellamy and Jackson, Mr Pace has indicated he's prepared to wait to appoint his man. Could it be that he's waiting for Gareth ?

If Southgate can't get results with Kane, Foden, Bellingham et al against the likes of Iceland and Denmark he will have no chance with our players in the Championship.

With players like Muric, Ekdal, Beyer, O'Shea, Berge, Amdouni, Odobert, Koleosho, Vitinho, Rodriguez, Benson & Zaroury I could get us out of the Championship.
