Maybe it's possible to be scrupulous of governments, aware of the corruption and vested interests that can be within, but also recognise that most people in politics are doing what they believe to be a good thing for their society (even if we might hugely disagree with them! ).

Not a popular view in groups that see only corruption and evil in every area, but maybe it's possible.
