I had an interesting convo with someone that has contact in the club.

Not an ITK as such but he clearly knows someone as the snippets he's given me in the past have all come true.

Apperently the Minteh deal isn't completely PSR/FFP releated. According to him, Minteh has a serious serious attitude problem - think Nile Ranger is what he said to me. It's one of the reasons Feyenood haven't put an offer in for him. Eddie apperently has washed his hands of trying to work with him.

Could be rubbish but the guy has some credit with me for previous stuff he's told me.

It's believable as this Minteh saga has dragged on ad nauseum, something has to be up with his attitude.

I dunno anything about the lad to comment on his character, however, it would go against the club policy to sign a D**khead.
Perhaps this is why we're not keeping him?

Perhaps he's just trying to do whats best for his career and feels he's good enough to play Premier League football already and doesn't much fancy a season playing farmers and cyclists in the Baguette league.

We all know what it's like to think something great is gonna happen in life only for the rug to be pulled. It stings. Pro sportsmen especially the younger lads are generally full of the vinegar.

We keep him he'll toe the line, if he goes then there is probably an issue the attitude if we don't include a buyback.

Saying that, every man was an idiot at 18. I can speak from experience (cough cough) too many decades ago now, I was a weapon at that age. It makes me laugh thinking about what a bunch of dumb s**t me and my mates used to get up to.

Earlier this week, Minteh’s agent – Bacary Bojang – revealed he has “agreed terms” with one club with Newcastle “willing to sell”.

“It is correct that Newcastle are willing to sell the player if they receive a good offer,” Bojang told Chronicle Live.

“From our side if Newcastle wants to sell and the sporting project is good we will definitely look at it. We are in communication with some clubs.

”He later added: “I can’t confirm clubs who are in communication with us. We have agreed terms with one of the clubs. So now the rest is with Newcastle.”

Once again, I do recon the real issue lies at the feet of lazy journos and there being no real transfers due to the complete shyte show that PSR has produced. There is no genuine activity in the market, "slow news days" as they say. "The devil makes work for idle hands". Those wage thieves who have the gall to call themselves professional sports writers have been phoning it in for years and quite frankly they vilify players for things that probably aren't true or, to ensure they are not liable to be held account for their nonsense, has a time percentage of truth in it.

If that’s the case then I change my thoughts on him, we don’t need him upsetting what is a strong team bond. Eddie wouldn’t want him if that’s true, we might find out one day.

Not Minteh related, but I once heard a story about some young lad in other sport. He had a talk with old school general manager and reached over the table to grab his snacks. Apparently it was a deal braker for him.

Let's take the money, move on, get in some top quality talent in the RWF, ship Migz and have a brutal front 3 unit and rotating subs to intimidate our surroundings and annihilate the competition.

The lad at Juve Soule was my favourite but apparently despite reports throughout the back end of the season stating he was definitely on the move in summer, it appears now he'll be a first teamer for the Old Lady next season.

Shame, from what I've seen of the Argi he is class.
