    Thanks for the information.
    However a 1.6% increase in Scottish students compared to a 37.1% increase in non EU students shows that the universities particularly the ones such St Andrews and Edinburgh are keen to get overseas students who pay the full cost of their degree course.
    In my opinion there are too many former technical colleges who are now ‘jumped up’ universities with the daddy of them all, the University of the Highlands and Islands which consists of a rag, tag and bobtail group of former technical colleges including a Gaelic college.

    How dare these people have degrees in practical subjects and better themselves to the overall benefit of the nation as a whole? Who let these people out from under our heel?
