Can only speak from my experience and that was the case yes.

British Universities are charities because they provide education. Private schools also have charitable status, at present, because they provide education and they are non profit making entities.

You can't insist that you go to the university of your choice. They select their undergraduates on the basis of exam results, interviews, economic pressures and pressures to give places to students from areas of social deprivation.

    Westminster
    43 SNP, 7 Conservative, 4 Lib Dem, 2 Alba, 2 Labour, 1 Independent. Total 59

Struggle to see how Labour are going to make a break through unless there is a realisation that the best thing for Scotland is to give up on Independence as a form of protest and actually vote for a change. SNP voters need to switch directly to Labour imo.
It has been absolutely pointless having SNP MP's in Westminster and the possibility of a hung Parliament looks remote. Better pick the winner and be on the winning team for a while, imo.

SNP will get less than 30 of the seats this time. And will resort to pointing out their mandate comes from majority in Scottish parliament in 2021.

Swinney was already giving that line last weekend.

I don't think they will get less than 30 seats. Can't see tactical voting being a successful strategy this election. Think they might get more seats than predicted because I don't think the polls can reflect voting intentions this time. Seems to me a lot of people are going to vote. Be interesting to see what voter turnout is like in Scotland.
