Whatever your opinions I hope everyone casts their vote today. An important part of being a citizen

What do you do if there’s no one you want to vote for/agree with their policies?

I have a few family/friends that aren’t voting for anyone as there’s no one to vote for that they align with.

I spoilt my vote last year, this year SDP.

I’ve just voted after a 6 hour trip back from Devon thanks to the M5 car-park near Bridgwater. Labour again, even though I don’t agree with votes at 16.

I can never understand why people go to the trouble of going to a polling station, showing your i.d. and stuff only to spoil their vote, why didn’t you just stay at home with a cup of tea?

Also I went out with a girl who helped with counting votes in some election or other and one had a nob drawn on it against a name and it was counted as a vote as the nob was erect so was counted as the voter was happy with that candidate, now I swear that story is true but I was never sure if she was pulling my leg or not?

My voting booth was a minute away last time so why I did it,

There’s many reasons, some write an essay on there’s some write abuse and some go wanting to vote for a party not standing in the constituency.

There must be one party they agree with more than the others or that they want to be the government more than the others (unless your friends are all some kind of communist or anarhcist or other extreme?)

I dont particurly like ballot spoiling but it is at least prefered to not voting at all
