It may be that the Labour vote will come from SNP. Maybe the Labour voters of the past have realised the road to nowhere that they got when they voted SNP. I was doubtful that they would change back.

Still think SNP will retain 40 seats?

The results in Scotland has shown that the former Labour supporters who deserted their party to vote for the SNP have returned back to voting Labour.
It is very pleasing that all the ALba MPs who had ‘jumped ship’ from the SNP to ALba have all been defeated.
The ALba candidate in the Angus including Broughty Ferry constituency did not get elected despite an ALba party advertising trailer being illegally erected last Wednesday afternoon on the grass verge beside the A90 trunk road between the Crematorium roundabout and the Camperdown flyover.
I immediately contacted Amey in Perth who are responsible for the maintenance of trunk roads in the Dundee area and reported this illegally parked ALba party advertising hoarding next to A90 Kingsway.
I was advised the Incident Unit staff would immediately investigate this and a couple of hours later I received an email advising that offending advertising hoarding had been removed.
The member of staff in Amey told me that election fly posting and advertising hoardings are not allowed on the Scottish Transport trunk road network with all fly posters and advertising hoardings being immediately removed.
Hopefully Alex Salmond will now give up his demands that Scotland becomes an independent country and finally accept the result of the September 2014 Scottish independence referendum.
