Islay, it will never happen. Look at the abuse that Conservatives get. Don't think any Conservative nominee for a seat would get support from the other political parties. Maybe there will be a continuing backlash from Scottish voters delivered by SNP voters? If they can vote Labour for Westminster, why would they not carry on and vote Labour for Holyrood?

We would have got rid of Chris Law if the Lid Dems and Conservatives did not have a candidate standing in the Dundee West constituency in the 2024 General election.
The SNP would have lost every seat they managed to win in the 2024 General election.
The Argyll, Bute and South Lochaber constituency proves this.
The SNP candidate won the seat with 34% of the vote but the Conservative, Labour and Lib Dems candidates votes totalled 56% of the total vote.
The Conservative candidate came second with the Labour and Lib Dem candidate within one thousand votes of each other n third and fourth place.
An anti independence candidate going ‘head to head’ with the SNP candidate would get rid of the SNP MPs and SNP MSPs first past the post MSPs once and for all as at present the anti independence vote is being split amongst the Labour, Conservative and Lib Dem candidates.
The Greens and ALba are a waste of space.

Contrary to your twisted logic, people should be allowed to vote for who they choose not on the basis of who they can stop.

The STV system in Scotland is relatively fair compared to Westminster, our politics isn't only about independence it's about cost of living, immigration, health and education for example.

Not everyone gets up in the morning and thinks about how to destroy the SNP.

Couldn't disagree with that, and that's why they should be losing in elections.

Please tell me why the Greens and ALba are not a waste of space.
The Greens are anti business and pro independence. Patrick Harvie leader of the Scottish Greens has double standards as far as Net Zero is concerned.
The ALba former MPs and MSPs assuming that they still have some MSPs are only interested in one thing. Scotland becoming an independent country despite the ‘once in a generation’ Scottish independence referendum in September 2014 resulting in a 55.3% vote in favour of Scotland remaining part of the U.K.

You are going to get a shock when it is announced that the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (UNIPCC) have had to admit that they are only estimating the CO2 emissions from Peatlands throughout the world including Scotland up to 2021-22 which is stated in their latest published information.
I obtained this information in an email from Patrick Harvie of the Greens several weeks before the Greens were binned by Humza Yousef as part of the SNP/Greens power sharing agreement at Holyrood.
The members of the UNIPCC who are only estimating CO2 emissions from Peatlands need to explain in full why they are not obtaining the correct number of annual CO2 emissions from Peatlands worldwide and which other sectors of the world economy they are also only estimating the annual CO2 emissions.
It should not be difficult for the UNIPCC to publish the correct number of annual CO2 emissions throughout the world.
Every country in the world including the Scottish Government would have to calculate the correct number of CO2 emissions from Peatlands and every sector of their own economy before submitting the details to the UNIPCC.

I am going to get a shock? How so? I have zero interest in what the UNIPCC are doing or not doing, so shocked? Nah not me,far from it, keep on rambling on though Islay.
