Can we make sure we don’t lose the plot if we don’t win games during PS? Chesterfield drew with Matlock having beat them 9-0 last PS and Bradford lost to some pub team. It happens… it’s fitness.

Looking unlikely that I can be there tonight. Looking forward to everyone's reports and news on any triallists (Kirk?) though!

Thanks to OldStripy for a reminder about the friendly against Wycombe in Loughborough this Saturday and to Glad2BeAPie for an important reminder that it is 'behind-closed-doors', so don't go expecting to get in!

Tuesday night was the first time Notts haven't won the opening pre-season fixture (usually selected to be the weakest opposition) since 2013, when we lost to Steaua Bucherest at St George's Park.

    First half XI vs Wycombe...

Slocombe, Macari, McDonald, Trialist, Chicksen, Gordon, Trialist, Edwards, Gill, Morias, Jatta

4 mins - Strong start from the lads, with Jatta glancing a header wide from Gordon's excellent cross.

18 - Another Gordon cross causes problems, with Jatta's close-range effort being well saved.
