Why would anyone want to use the phrase when there's plenty of other descriptions to use.
I honestly don't think "emotional gay man" is what people are thinking when they call someone a drama queen. They're thinking the person is getting worked up about something trivial, turning something into a big drama for no reason. ***ual orientation is irrelevant. There's nothing objectively offensive about "drama queen". So if someone gets offended due to some strange assumptions they have, that's on them, not me.

It's been in common use for my lifetime and not in the way you wish to interpret it:

"A person, esp. a woman or girl, who overreacts to a minor setback or who is prone to exaggeratedly dramatic behaviour; (also) a person who thrives on being the centre of attention."

So stop being such a drama queen.

Male llama or female llama (llamette?). And what is the llama's ***uality, how does it identify.

Above all, in the grown up early 21st century (no man on the moon, nobody on Mars. Where the hell is my flying car?) , who really cares. Except the llamas perhaps

    Good justification there, carry on.

I get that the use on this board has no intention to be offensive, but you have to be aware that there are other meanings used to be very cruel and beyond an off the cuff "banter" comment.

just because it's always been said doesn't mean its ok.

There are, I'm afraid a few vile offensive people on this site who take great pleasure out of ridiculing anyone who doesn't have the same beliefs and ideas as them and god help you if you criticise anything the club does. You are labelled as per earlier comments! Then we wonder why there are few new members joining

As the poster labelled "drama queen," I am personally not offended. It is obviously crass and typifies many on this forum that seek to belittle people they don't agree with by using derogatory phrases. To some degree we all do it. However, getting back to the point, I feel that a team that has been stripped of half its players, lost its main star, and has been boosted by a lot of unknown quantities and returning long-term injured players is very worrying. Female dramatic monarch or not. Plus the team's quality will hinge on the performance of an unproven League 2 coaching team. I am struggling to see this as a promotion scenario.
