I’ve not lived in mainland Europe but I’d be shocked if France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Croatia etc etc home networks weren’t equally as biased/arrogant as English tv it’s just we don’t have to watch and suffer that!

It’s just a little bit gash that we share a tv network with our biggest sporting rival who are infinitely bigger and better than us! Its like Dundee fans only getting to watch dutv 😄
    My thoughts exactly.
Hate is a strong word often overused.
England have a great squad, most of us watch the English Premier league albeit alot of non English players in it but it's still the English Premier league.
Ehen it comes to national teams we are watching broadcasts predominantly English and it's always been like that.
I've been in france and Italy when tournaments are on and their coverage is every bit as biased towards their own teams as what England's is.
Some on here moaning that in the build up to france v spain there were interviews and talk about england, it's a UK broadcast predominantly English so what do you expect?
If Scotland were in the semi finsl there would of been coverage of us too.
I guarantee you Dutch tv would of been bigging up their national team on tv while covering Spain v France.
Sometimes we just get caught up in it and are often very hypocritical but hey ho let's just get on with it.
Best of luck to both teams Sunday, it should be an open game which will suit the English side but spain have been the best team overall so far.

It goes too far though. I can remember during the World Cup in 2006 - no idea who was playing but it wasn't England and it wasn't even England's group. I got home and switched the TV on and it was a minute to go before half time and it was 2-0. Great, I thought - I'll get to see the goals in a few minutes. NOPE! Straight into talking about England. Then off to the England training camp to hear from the manager and a couple of the players. Ooh!! Guess which England player had his hair cut yesterday? Oooh, let's talk about that for a bit! Oh, the second half has kicked off. Oh, shall we get back to that then?
