    John Bostock on trial with Swansea somehow. I presume they're just helping with his fitness but playing him in a friendly over their own players is a bit odd.

    I doubt he's be keeping fit at Swansea when he lives in Notts and one reason he came t us was that he could be with his son more as they were settled. I'm guessing his wages were a reason to not offer him a new contract more than his playing ability which is a shame.

    I’d say age was/is catching up with him now though. He looked a different player for the last half of the season. Not taking anything away from the impact he did have the season before, but from my seat, he looked leggy, slow and took the backwards pass far too often.
    If he ends up signing for Swansea..I’ll be amazed if they think he can cut it for them. In fact if I was a Swansea fan and the club were even thinking it…I’d be mightily pi!!ed off.
    As the point a couple of posts ago said, starting him in a friendly is bizarre enough above Swanseas own players. Experience is great, until it’s not great anymore.
