Useless, if he was running a bath he’d have a lifejacket on, no more yes men, the inept FA need to go for a winner, step forward Mr Klopp

For me someone like Klopp too!

What’s Howe won and by all accounts Newcastle were very average at best last season and they had many disgruntled supporters. Shocking defending!

They had an appalling injury crisis last season.

    Fabulous team to watch.

Well done Gareth for getting England into the top five teams in the world, getting us to two major finals, semis and quarters, more than any manager has done since sir Alf. You’ve made the right decision though, time for the next level. Will we reach it? Who can do the job? Time will tell. God help him though if he doesn’t match and go beyond Southgate. Watch this space.

Same here, I think it will likely be Howe tho.

They weren't fabulous last season and the majority of supporters are never usually wrong. Jury well and truly out with a lot of Newcastle fans and know two season ticket holders. We will see this season but not expecting anything special from him or Carlos. You can argue injuries and spend forever but then some managers do great jobs like the new Bournemouth manager or Rohl at Sheffield Wednesday!

I don’t care, I speak personally, I love watching Newcastle matches.

One of the few teams who’s matches I tune into.

I watched a few matches last season including the cup match at Blackburn and their defence was shambolic. Don’t like what Newcastle stand for anymore with Saudi owners. If we had a Saudi owner then I wouldn’t go to any matches. Imagine if you were gay and found out the new owners were Saudi FFS!

Eddie Howe earns twice as much as Southgate did no chance England will be able to afford him, the same with Klopp and any other club manager IMO it will either be Potter who for some reason has turned down plenty of job offers over the summer or Carsley will be promoted from the under 21's.
