Thank goodness. For ever grateful to Joe, but his time has sadly been…and gone. Should think it’s between Harris and Newson but I see, as MA predicted, that Michelle Obama has appeared in the betting. Personally I still doubt she’ll stand.
Let’s hope whoever it is can beat the deranged, ‘did I tell you I’d taken a bullet for America’, Trump and the possibly even more loathsome, Vance.

Hmmm…as I recall the ‘negative adjectives’ have been applied to the likes of Johnson, Cummings, Hancock, Patel, Braverman, Truss, Rees-Mogg, Trump, Corbyn and Farage.
How are they all doing? Doesn’t seem like that bad a track record to me, but sorry for offering an opinion…on a forum of all things.

As you know, GP…my views may be best described as ‘centre left’ so the ‘degree of positivity or negativity’ you describe isn’t really surprising.
However, despite my admiration for both, I have NEVER described Keir Starmer as ‘courageous’ or Biden as ‘cuddly old Joe’, indeed I began this thread by questioning the latter’s suitability for office…so probably best if you don’t just make things up.
