The idea I like for a next meet up is a Clarets Away Weekend. There are some serious contenders on the list this coming season for consideration. At the moment I think these are all Saturday fixtures 3pm kick offs: Oxford (28/9), Bristol City (27/11), Portsmouth (1/2), Swansea (15/3). I appreciate TV companies can always step in with minimum notice and change kick off dates & times but would this be something of interest?

Of course Cardiff (1/3) Barrie. Very much in contention. That gives us a great list of possibilities.

The BIG problem is getting hold of TEN or so away tickets. It's a great idea but I think will be practically impossible to organise.

Difficult yes but is it still possible? How many loyalty points would season ticket holders need this coming season to pick up an away ticket and if not a season ticket holder what are the chances if you have a Clarets Membership of getting tickets?

I have quite a number of influential contacts with Cardiff FC through my bowls memberships etc. When I have been to Cardiff v Burnley
games over the years there have always been a lot of spare seats available.I'm sure we could sort something out.

Leave it with you. I'm in and I'll even bring a couple of bottles of decent red wine just for you my old mate.

Enjoy your time in France! It sounds like you'll miss any preseason meet-ups, but you'll be back in time for a gathering once the season starts. Hopefully, there will be another meet scheduled just after your return so you can catch up with everyone. Safe travels, and see you soon! Hasta la vista!

As we kick off tonight it would appear I haven't missed anything, still in France though and it's a tad hot. Welcome to the forum georgejohn.
