Disappointing petulance from Molumby. Whilst acknowledging and appreciating his previous spirit and commitment, this stupidity will not be appreciated by Carlos. Red card and ban had it not been a ‘friendly’ ?

I know they are only pre season friendlies but the lack of goals, chances created plus this awful style of play is quite concerning
We have a very committed and hard working coach but this style of play may well be his downfall if Mr Shilleen gets as bored as some of us

He’s had a serious injury and been out for a long time.

It’s easy for us to criticise but the fact he’s been dealing with this and that it’s a friendly probably lead to him reacting this way.

Complete bollox Mick! He was completely bang out of order and should face the consequences. Unfortunately you were in a bad place over a week ago - does that mean your frustration can excuse you smacking somebody in the face? No! No excuses!

Molumbys discipline needs sorting, as for everything else, lots of assumptions. Let’s see how the season starts with proper matches and not just run outs.

While appreciating your optimism Boingy and accepting that pre-season matches don’t mean a great deal, I do worry regarding our style of play, lack of chances being made, plus lack of goals scored.

The clue is in - Southgate was staggered that he had done anything wrong!

Four pre season games, four goals scored one of them an own goal, easy to see where the biggest problem still exists

My wife watched this and thought the other guy hit Molumby first (out of shot) the angle was covered by Molumby himself. Still no excuse but it would be good to see an angle from the other side.
