The rioting last night in Southport was triggered by yet another monster being arrested with a knife, close to where the vigil was taking place.This was not reported by the main stream media which led to the violence.The Police Commissioner and Chief Constable should be sacked.The good people of Southport have been totally let down.

Strangest thing happened to me at the weekend..me, my partner and another couple went to Liverpool at the weekend, Friday to Sunday, came back Monday..on the Sunday, we decided to go to Southport for the day, only 40 minutes away..I had only been there once before with two friends in around 74/ 75 to watch the millers as we had already been promoted but lost on the day..I think it was 3- 1 to Southport..my partner and the other couple had never been..we had a stroll for an hour or so, had a pint in a pub, and had some fish and chips in a restaurant..we took photos exactly where today's vigil is being held and sat on the benches a while and we were all saying what a wonderful place this would be to live ..we got home Monday and found this had happened..

Just as a sidenote, rotherham lost 2-0 not 3-1 and i think its the last time we ever played them..we also saw red rum on southport beach that day..
