    I think you're allowed to think it but I'm no longer sure about the second part. It's not Tarmac though so you're probably OK

    Is it just an optical illusion, or is there quite a slope down from the pitch surface to the advertising boards? Which could be a bit dangerous?

    For years there was a slope before Hardy did a half heart pitch reconstruction that took off a few inches

    It's to combat the long throw specialists It does look quite a slope, the pitch looks like it's about a foot up from the bottom of the advertising boards When they mentioned astro-turf I assumed they ment green not black.
