These type of signings usually do better than our big money signing , Lambert , Zohore and Sturrage cost us £2.5 m for half a season and 2 games .
This lad played 48 matches last season plus 18 goals , if comes off all well and good lets give a chance .

It’s often said - half the goal tally if you move up a division.
If correct he will be an upgrade on our current strikers!

    give the lad a chance

If we’re able to hold onto him!.
Err you are taking the mick there, aren't you, uncle Mick ?. 😁
You've got hopes of getting back into the Prem again soon, and this signing really surprised me.
Btw, how's Dazza Dike now in his injury rehab ?.

Seems not to be rated at Barnsley!! Looks like we have signed another lame one!

Dike has been unlucky but doubt whether he will get over this but we live in hope!

He's at that stage now Al, where he's looking for one good pay off.
A bigger club who can and will give him more money, but I wouldn't expect too much effort from him.
Will he even be a second, or a third choice striker for you ?.
As for Dike, I wish him all the best, and hope his rehab is going smoothly.

How did you work that out?
    18 goals…half equals 9
    Asante got 12 last season.

Asante twice the player Cole is, Asante’s work rate is phenomenal, yes he misses a few chances but he came from lg 2 and had a lot to learn, he’s done really well at West Brom sorry to see him go but our finances dictate who goes and sadly the bottom of the barrel replacements we get
