Whenever one of our players leaves, with the odd exception, I always wish them the best for the future. Connor Townsend may not be the greatest full back we’ve had but he has given us decent service over his time at the Hawthorns. I wish him well.

I am afraid he never seemed to learn and we were constantly getting done at the back post with him and Furlong to be honest. but I wish him well as he has not got a lot of playing years left. I am amazed that Ipswich have signed him to be honest.
