    I understand the financial black hole the club finds itself in but having lost 4 of our regular first team players already from last season (5 if you include Mikey Johnson) I don't relish the thought of losing Furlong too. Yes, like many he has his weaknesses but I would argue that he was one of our key players last season and has improved his game. Tbh, I for one really hope that he can be persuaded to sign and stay if this report is true.

    Pity we cannot unload our poorer costlier players instead, but then no-one (rather understandably) wants them! 😞
