    An interesting signing.

On the face of it his numbers don’t look too promising and given he turns 21 this month, he’s hardly one for the academy. He looks to possess some excellent physical attributes and the hope, clearly, is that Eddie and the coaching staff can mould him into an Isak-style player. It’s a huge step up in quality for him and I will never accept a world where £10 million rising to £15 million isn’t a big gamble. Wilson is never fit and Isak is hardly reliable in that regard either. I wouldn’t have faith that this lad is anywhere near ready to lead the line for a team hunting European football and trophies. That said, I’m willing to give him a chance before passing judgement which should be the attitude of all supporters for any signings we make.

He's definitely not one we've bought to loan out. His poor numbers obviously don't tell the full story but he's going to need to get up to speed pretty quickly, you'd think.

Well, not surprisingly, on social media we’re seeing comments ranging from ‘he’s the next Isak/Sir Les/Asprilla’ to massive disappointment. It really comes down to the trust you have in the staff at the club to recruit well. As supporters I think we should all give him and EH a chance before making any OTT comments. I don’t think many knew a lot about him 2 days ago so forming strong opinions already is a bit weird.
From youtube vids (yes, I know) he seems to have some decent attributes. Now it’s over to EH and Mad dog and, in usual EH style, I don’t expect to see him on the pitch for some time.

    Well summed up Topster.

Completely agree, check out the extensive list of players who have developed and improved massively under Eddie Howe's (Mad Dog & the team) excellent coaching.

No doubt this kid will flourish under the tutelage of the lads.

Time will tell how he develops.

Wilson for 1 more season. End of next season Mitchell will sign Sesko from RB Leipzig through his connections to the RB network.

    Sesko! haha

Although I know nothing about him this signing makes sense.
We will have 3 senior strikers and can spend our budget on the CB and RW that are the priority.

Next season we can look into a quality second striker. But this is a hard position to fill..what quality player wants to play second fiddle to Isak?

Very little downside at that price and at the age to improve. Someone saw something in him. Trust the process .

Pity we couldn't buy Minteh back at 31 million now.

I don't think so. It's the one position we need quality to match the left side.

This kid is versatile, howe likes that, however this kid will be cover for Isak & Wilsons (desperately needed cover for big Cally sicknote)

The player the club will bring in is gonna be very good. I don't personally give a toss about Minteh. Knew nothing about him when we signed him. The lads in Rotterdam said he was great for them. Was not upset when we sold him.

As you said mate, trust the process.

We'll forget all about Minteh when the club sign, Kubo, Raphina, F.Torres or someone equally awesome.

Torres I am not convinced about but I agree with your sentiment. Onwards and upwards.
