You shouldn't have 6 trialists playing a week before the season starts. We're desperate for numbers. What has our head of recruitment been doing since Xmas. We knew the problems with the team squad before then. He also knew Langstaff's departure was possible so should have been scouring everywhere for an immediate replacement. Some clubs would have signed someone straight away & I mean within hours to soften the blow

In fairness, the first team played the first game. This second game is for the squad and we have 6 players out injured. I'd rather us still be looking for a gem or two, great opportunity to see them in action.
