We should not be relying on trialists with a week to go, end of! Sooner that idiot in charge of recruitment is fired the better. Another preseason wasted and going into new season weaker than last year after cashing in on our best asset is criminal.

Poor recruitment, poor training facilities, leading to lots of injuries, poor media coverage, poor info about shirts. Seems we are way more interested in off the field activities .

Slocombe nearly gave them a 4th then by giving Mnoga a hospital pass in the 6 yard box. Luckily they fouled him. Really though, Slocombe should be absolutely nowhere near this team.

Joe Palmer has got form for it, did the exact same thing at Wimbledon by completely prioritising their new stadium ahead of the playing squad, which lead to their relegation, hence why a lot of their fans warned us about him when he came in.

Great pitch, lots of hospitality packages, the next, the sound system, the Padel courts. Unfortunately at the expense of a decent Manager, a decent attack line, a decent midfield and some quality back up players , this is beginning to feel like a step backwards .

But all those things are really important for a football clubs development. That is what we should be spending money on the clubs long term infrastructure. You ignore those boring things for too long and you end up in a world of trouble spending hundreds of thousands each season on trying to make your rickety old ground fit for purpose and able to pass health and safety tests like some other clubs in this league.

I would rather they look after the longer term future of the club than panic or get ripped off buying a Boldewijn or Showunmi. Money down the drain in a couple of seasons or less and nothing to show for it.

Overall I do not believe our recruitment has been poor it has been pretty good and a lot better than before.
