I binged the whole first series today and I enjoyed it a lot, there was loads of faces that I knew from other programmes in it and I tried to remember where I had seen them before, the only one that defeated me was the main black character who I had to Google (Gimme, gimme, gimme) I’ve always had a soft spot for dodgy vicars and I was hoping that he was nicking the money to spend on gambling and prozzies but a secret daughter was better for the story I suppose 10/10

Fingers crossed I will manage Series 2 tomorrow

As I was up early today I binged the whole of series 2 of Unforgotten and I really enjoyed it,especially good was the actress who played the nurse and the young girl who played the cancer victim who was very convincing ,at the end of episode 3 the final scene was with all three suspects meeting up in a pub and that’s when I guessed how they did it,Strangers on a Train was one of my favourite films as a kid so that sprang to mind straight away but it didn’t spoil the viewing for the following three episodes,if I have any grievances though it’s that we didn’t see that scroat or his girlfriend that was blackmailing the gay guy get his comeuppance plus the part played by Wendy Craig wasn’t very important to the show, initially I was led to believe that she was the main character but upon watching she wasn’t hardly in it

10/10 and looking forward to series 3

Series 3 done and dusted and an enjoyable watch, tbh I was a bit chuffed with myself after sussing out the plot at the end of episode 3 of series 2 I thought that I would give it a go again, straight from the start the murdered girl had an identical twin sister, hello I thought, why would they have an identical twin sister if she wasn’t something to do with the murder,Inspector Chalkys theory was mistaken identity and the wrong sister was killed but by episode four I was having my doubts and proven to be wrong,as a nick pick I don’t like those two second flashbacks that they do,either do a longer one or not at all,one series left on Netflix so I’m saving that for a rainy day

Anyone know if Whitechapel is any good?

If you like a laugh and a lot of cussing, Wicked Little Letters is a great watch.

I watched this today griff but before I did I looked online for a review,The Guardian was the first to come up and as a reconised newspaper I read the review and it was scathing of the film calling it a depressing, obvious, chunky waste of a stellar cast…

I loved it,right from the start when the letters was being read out and the language that was used it had me lsughing,Littlehampton being a joke by itself and when the female copper had the main suspect up against the wall I nearly p1ssed myself when she shouted out “Ow,that’s my writing arm” and stuff like did you carry on at school when you left at 12 made it funny right to the end

The Guardian was mistaken and you was right griffy
