The Bros have had the same strategy since they walked through the the door: no silly promises, keep looking for value, keep evolving and improving the quality of the squad bit by bit, and see where it takes us, remembering that luck sometimes plays a part too. Two years ago it took us to National League promotion, and now we're looking to be strong in League Two, but there's no reason whatsoever to rush or panic. When we go up, we need to be ready to compete at the next level, not do a Carlisle.

I remember the days when we had squads of 30 or more players yet half were practically unusable even in an emergency. I'm pretty sure we will add a couple more before the window closes, but quality matters far more than quantity. A squad of 20 players can be deep, while a squad of 30 players can be weak. It's about how talented and versatile your players are.
I'll go along with that as long as you can arrange that if Jatta scores 25 goals each season for the next two seasons and Swansea come in for him for £750k we won't sell him?
