Agree, put darlow in, meslier doesn’t control his area, can’t come for crosses, he is an instinctive shot stopper but not what I’d call a reliable keeper. A sound keeper and a sound striker wouldn’t go amiss.

About Summerville, if a player wants out as his hearts not in it then it’s pointless keeping hold, however difficult it is, which is why wober is a complete waste of our time.

Also agree on the striker/conversion rate, but I think singling out Bamfird who only came in as sub relatively late on is a bit unfair. We had nearly 30 attempts, most from those who were being "promoted" as successor to Bamford, and we converted 10%. Just not good enough as a team.

You are correct that singling out bamford is not fair. However, I can't help but think the constant massaging, walking around on egg shells and the injuries throws off the entire offense. It is contagious and we have made striking and scoring seem as difficult as figuring out an advanced calculus problem. There is a mindset to striking and believing you can beat anyone on any given day. we regularly run into other teams strikers that are slower, less physically gifted and not particularly blessed with a cannon foot that score at a much higher %. we've also have them in the past such as Beckford, Wood or Becchio.

I am really hoping this does not rub off on Joseph. He seems to have the mindset of a striker and he may have to carry the team some games this season.

we do need a keeper change. Meslier is not bad but he's not above average. let someone get a shot.

This current manager has made messlier a vice captain so I don’t think he will be planning to drop him.
