Just seen that since 2022 season, Chelsea have spent 1.3 billion Euro's on players.

They are basically a player agency at this point, rather than a football club.

Something along the lines of: there are 42 first team players here but I'm only working with 15-20 and the others have been told they can't train with the group.

Holy ****. This is one of the most concerning things I've read about Chelsea is a long time. They're going to essentially banish players like Chillwell and Sterling to train alone or with the resrves. Probably close to a dozen players on 150k/week + being frozen out. They are going to lose a boat load of money.

Stirling has been told to train at home and his number has been given away.

All these players they won't be able to register, clubs aren't going to come in and loan them on their full fees so Chelsea are going to have to stump up some of hteir wages.

I think they'll just keep on because they've clearly got a cheat code. Selling land and hotels back to themselves is insane. The PL is clearly corrupt (see also Man U's Covid allowance) but there seems very little, if anything, we can do about it.

And as if on queue - their manager today has announced he'd like another striker in before the window closes. . . . Mind boggles.

I did read earlier today that they are expecting a transfer band which is why they are stocking up on players.
