    What entitlement:
"Clement also highlighted the "crazy situation" he encountered when signing 21-year-old midfielder Connor Barron from Aberdeen this summer.

That the compensation Scottish clubs need to pay for players from a rival Scottish club's academy is greater than if the player is signed by a club from another country.

"Even to Premier League where they have all the money in the world," Clement complained."

What? Unlike Sevco who are skint?

    Nisbet loan confirmed.

A loan could be a shrewd move here, if Jimmy solves his issues we could get a lot of goals from him while looking for a lot n get term mio replacement, but if the reported attitude problems resurface we can end the loan early

Pretty happy wi the recent business.

Good moves for players & club re Duncan & Jensen. Neither are (or will be) good enough to be AFC first team regulars.

Assume Richardson will be away on loan again too if we can find someone daft enough to take him.

Nisbet is a proven SPL striker. He’ll get goals which is what we need. I’m not worried about attitude - he’s got a point to prove and its a loan so if he’s a dick he’ll be gone - I take those rumours with a pinch of salt too, as Hibs were apparently back in for him again as well, so why would they do that if he was trouble?

It’s the injury issues I’m more concerned about - and are the actual thing I think derailed him at Millwall - but again, its a loan so if he gets crocked he can go back. Works for me.

We’re not going to get a proven £2m SPL striker without some question marks, so got to trust Jimmy on this one.

I’d like to see another left back & another centre half as I think we’re still light there, then I’d be pretty happy with our business this summer…

Nothing on club site? Is it on club twitter then? I don’t have access to that.

    Agree with all that.

Half thought Jensen would go out but also thought him being left sided may have given him a stay of grace for LB cover. Fair play to the guy if he wants to play more though, not quite good enough but we’ve had a lot worse. I’m worried by just McGarry as cover though.

Also thought we might take in RB cover as thought Milne might go out to get more playing time. More scope for him now with one less CB I guess. I’m also assuming Richardson won’t be here given he’s the only one Thelin hasn’t played.

Re CB, yet another season with a new pairing. Not sure we even have makings of getting a settled one for next year either. McDonald getting on, Ruby I suspect if he put in a halfway decent showing would be off. Milne/Molloy bit green yet to play together? Ach probably being harsh, not Jimmys fault the calamity that area has been, just hope he gets it sorted.

And although I’m no fan of loans we can’t expect to do everything in the one window. Striker hardest area to recruit, look at dross we’ve had (and have…?), so if we have taken Nisbett, proven SPL quality, understandable. Seen grumbling about his attitude etc, something I’ve not read anywhere until now, but surely he has a point to prove?

Mostly just nitpicking. We’re certainly a far more balanced squad than we’ve been in a long time.

He is "undergoing a medical" according to the BBC. I am sure that as soon as he passes, he will be whisked off to the broom cupboard for the obligatory signing on photo.

I'd be happy to pay him off and get him off the books. A Goodwin buy who was good going forward but was a liability at the back.

I do have concerns about the size of the sqaaad, and keeping bench players happy.
