Great result, two wonder strikes from Didzy and good solid defending under pressure (Bass has good hands and comes for the ball).

    This precisely.

Early days, but it's a really good sign. Our defence didn't crumble under pressure, and the quality we have up front gives us a chance even when we're not in control of the game. Showed resilience by coming from a goal down, and it means we've now had a reasonably good start overall, which was critical for the Head Coach. Maynard didn't come into this season with a lot of credit in hand, but results like this will help him.

Winning ugly.....something Stockport and Wrexham have done plenty of times to get out of this league.

Bass and Platt were brilliant. Macari and Bedeau steady. Didzy the difference! I'll take it...and more. Playing OK and winning away is a very good sign!

Well done Stuart and the lads.

Well we have done it and put to bed the ghost of relegation.

Obviously I’ve not seen the game yet but the fact we have come from a goal behind it is a big positive. The fact Didzy has come in and stamped his mark and advised SM he is ready and available as another option along with Jatta.

Also that we have weathered the storm that no doubt Swindon would have had, plus not being at our best but still coming away with three points.

Finally it means we keep the 100% record of my stat of bettering the equivalent result last season in tact. We lost at Swindon 2-1 last season.

Still early days, but a lot to take from it on the face of it and looking forward to hearing those opinions from those who were there.

    A great 3 points.

CBP must be feeling sick tonight… our paper thin squad picks up a massive 3 points on the road without the only decent forward at the club. That non League 1 side who we drew with smashed Orient 3-0, who don’t forget smashed Millwall who in turn have won big today.

We weathered a storm and the defence held firm. Stall summing it up perfectly ‘Notts would have lost that last season’. Surely we can see enough to know that we have a squad that will fight for the shirt and play when possible. Or is it too early still?

Notts undefeated. Back to ML next Saturday.

3rd highest scorers in the division averaging 2.00 goals per game, 7th best defence conceding 1.00 per game.

Morecambe have lost all four of their games by the same score, 0-1 (Notts have never lost 0-1 more than 3 times on the bounce).

Have Notts made a conscious decision to not reveal injury issues?
SM just mentioned that SR pulled chest muscle being monitored daily, no forecast for return.

That will do for me today.

3 points when not playing well, a couple of points off the top which I am more than happy with.

Really pleased for Didzy but even more for Stuart Maynard - held his head up under pressure - I'm sure there's a great head-coach there.
