What is this Rathbone type player ru66 ? No doubt it is somebody who will run about, commit a few fouls and put a shift in. Is he really the creative midfield , box to box type or number 10 we really need?

He had three seasons with us,. In 21/22 season he scored 2 goals and had 4 assists. In 22/23 he scored 4 goals and had 2 assists. In 23/24 he scored 1 goal and had 1 assist. As i said earlier plenty of blood and guts but very little creativity. Compare his assists to Barlasers(who you dont rate ru66) and i think you will see Barlaser created more in the 5 months before he left than all of Rathbones 3 years here. Everybody loves a trier like Rathbone but to succeed at a higher level we need something a bit better imo.

Who can do some ratting & get us forward Rathbone could. Barlaser was a luxury for us with his game when it came off which weren't enough. Vaulks when he was here type of player now we could do with win ball lay it off then get forward could take right footed corners & free kicks also.

I won't get into a battle ru66 as you know a lot more than i do.

You say Barlaser was a luxury for us and Rathbone could rat and get us forward. Fair enough. However, in the championship for us Barlaser played 61 games scored 5 goals and had 11 assists. In league one he played 71 games scored 11 goals and had 12 assists. That is a luxury i think you can manage. Let the ratters do their job and give the ball to somebody who has quality to deliver the telling pass. Barlaser was an outstanding dead ball deliverer and very comfortable on the ball in tight spaces. I will admit he has struggled at the'Boro' but i would take his quality now for us, luxury or not.

You say Barlaser has struggled at Boro and the fact that he doesn't start regularly definitely suggests that, but everytime I have seen Boro play since he has been there they have, to me anyway, always looked better when he's been on the pitch. A quality player for us and a very hard act to follow and replace. UTM

I prefer more direct players like Vaulks & Rathbone. Barlaser all I can remember about him for us was that free kick he took towards the home end & taking outswinging corners from the right. Crooks was the same all I can remember is that pass at Hillsborough.

Yes Koroma looks a handful and then err......err.......nah din't see owt else off them that caught the eye, including Wiles.

We thoroughly deserved the win! Can someone get Odoffin a 'How to score from 2 yards out video' jeez how many chances does he want?

Never a penalty but I'll take that all day long, we've had enough given against us when they weren't. Nombe' clear MOTM with his non stop enthusiastic display. Wilks, a breath of fresh air down the wing and that run got us the penalty! His goal was very well taken indeed and it was the per fect tonic we all wanted to see.......smiling happy faces as we left the ground with the sounds of 'Danny Danny Ward' still being sung by our fans

NB. Yak, tried to look for you pal but didn't manage it but, at least Evo come and thanked us today for the support
I went to the game and i thought it was bang average for the first hour.I didn't think it was a penalty the Millers were given and i was chattin to Ronnie Moore at the lane for BLADES U/21's v Watford on monday and he didn't think it was a pen either, but the winner was a very good goal and i do think the Millers deservedly won the game.A good weekend for me a South Yorks treble(win for BLADES.Millers & defeat for the Pigs) UTB

Perhaps you need to go to the Memory Clinic if that's all you can remember.

Selective memory I've got but I can remember way back my best memories were Crawford his goal at Barnsley in the fc Cup cause of the atmosphere with millers fans there & feeling when Towner scored against Sheff U at millmoor towards kop end.
