I thought that your post a few days ago re the approach a manager should take was fully aligned with my thinking Pass. Each game is a tactical puzzle to be solved and some managers are better at getting it right than others. There’s no off the peg approach that simply works. Ismael tried it and it got sussed eventually there was no plan B with him.
Word of caution though, swapping and changing both tactics and personnel can go over the top and become unnecessary meddling.
In the early days of our new manager I have thought there have been a few odd decisions regarding starting 11’s and subs, hence the post I put up saying don’t become a tinker man,
But he’s had a decent start doing it The Clarke way.
